  I had a total hip replacement with robotic assist on an anterior approach. My diagnosis was bone on bone osteoarthritis with shortening of the leg and chronic pain. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I was walking with a walker the day of surgery. After a one-night stay I walked with a cane to the car that picked me up. Other than some stiffness in the morning for the first few days, I was relatively pain-free. A week later I was walking unassisted, the limp and pain I'd had previously was gone. I recommend Dr. Nzoma to anyone in need of hip replacement, and I'm having him evaluate me for shoulder surgery on my next follow up.
